“Just when you think Republicans can’t sink any lower, they do. Attacking Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl isn’t cutting it anymore. They want more. Now Republicans are going to after his dad, his father, Bob Bergdahl. These guys are ruthless. They have no boundaries. Republicans have made Bob Bergdahl a tool in their toolbox to take down President Obama. They’ll try anything. They don’t like the way he looks. They don’t like the way he talks. They don’t like what comes out of his mouth and they can’t stand the fact that Bob Bergdahl doesn’t hate Muslims.
…For Congress and the conservative media to suggest that they know more than the military brass is an outrage. It’s an insult. Republicans, they’re not supporting the troops. They’re attacking the troops. They think our generals are idiots and can’t figure out what happened to this guy, and they don’t want to give him time to do it because they hate Obama so much. Republicans are disingenuous when they claim to support the troops and attack Bowe Bergdahl’s father. The one person who is supporting the troops, is President Obama. He is standing behind his decision.”
“Overall, Republican policies are targeted to hurt minority Americans. Paul Ryan’s budget hurts. Their actions hurt.
…I do believe that the conservatives in this country continue to fuel racism by their policies that attack minorities in this country and try to keep the working folk down. It emboldens people who are in power to say what they say with absolutely no responsibility whatsoever. Kids are watching. They’re listening. What kind of example are we setting?”
“The breaking news at this hour is that the Affordable Care Act has reached six million sign ups. To me, I think this is amazing. When you consider the countless hours on rightwing radio, 600 stations across the country that basically did a Jihad on Obamacare.”
“It amazes me that people don’t love Obama. It amazes me that the conservatives who are seeing the stock market go through the roof in dealing with a President who has pretty much been hands-off on Wall Street, it just amazes me he can’t get above 50 percent when it comes to a favorable view of the economy.”
“It’s easy to say we gotta cut. We gotta cut! Let’s just cut! Cut more! Hell, let’s just cut everything! It’s easy to do that. But when you start affecting jobs and you start affecting people’s lives and you start affecting what people want, the people have to matter, OK? I mean, we have, we have to matter and the political element to all of this is, they want Obama to fail. Now you’ve got a budget of three and a half trillion dollars in this fiscal year. This will take $85 billion out of it. That’s damn near a third.”
“Republicans will not go face-to-face with your fat, red-headed friend Big Eddie. Because I have the facts on my side and I don’t back down. They don’t want to be messin’ with me.
…They’re not gonna come on my show. They know that they’d get their ass kicked. I have the facts on my side. They lie!”
“Jeb Bush helped pave the way for this senseless tragedy and remains silent. What a political tragedy.”
“It’s outrageous what [Paul Ryan] just said! He is inciting civil war! That’s what he’s doing.
You take his comments, and you see exactly what they mean. It’s almost as if Republicans want violence to take place in our society.”
